This is my first experience in making weblogs - a blog dedicated to James Fenimore Cooper's literary heritage. Many of us were absorbed in his books about Hawkeye and Chingachgook in our early teen-ages. But there're still enough mysteries to explore.
The topic of this particular project is "The image of a "noble Indian" in Fenimore Cooper's The Last of the Mohicans". Cooper was the first writer to introduce a positive image of an Indian, actually, he became an innovator in many aspects of American literature, he's even called the 1st American fiction writer. But I've chosen this topic mainly because he was and remains one of my favorite American writers.
